Windows 8.1 blogMicrosoft wants everyone to upgrade to the next platform 8.1. It may be new but the jury is still out as to whether it is better. It has good points and bad points. We have real good luck with XP. Windows 7 is not to bad ether. Microsoft also wants you to be constantly connected to the internet this can be good, this can be bad. It all comes down to two things in my opinion, how much bandwidth you have, and just how creeped you get about your stuff being stored on the cloud. Using Skype and cloud software can be a problem if you just do not have the bandwidth. But if you don't have a good internet connection like what's offered with Frontier phone service you can't use the clouds well at all. The best thing about Windows 8.1 is the start button that was brought back. I don't like 8.1 and don't recommend it, XP and 7 is working just fine for me.
